IF YOU LIKE ALL A La Carte’S SONG GO FOR IT! ‘Rockin’ Oldies’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. It’s natural for A La Carte to take a stab at ‘On Top Of Old Smokie’ considering her long-professed love for 2 Unlimited. Unappreciated gift to Dance
Only one song from Rockin’ Oldies named Have I The Right really got me. Do Wah Diddy Diddy is just simply stunning. Tennessee Waltz is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. Album opener Cotton Fields is a bright, upbeat ditty. I believe Stupid Cupid is one of the most marvelous, heartfelt songs ever written. Heart Foll Of Soul - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Tell Him is the song that really did it for me. Hey John, Hey Tom is the albums biggest surprise. Music and lyrics of Dong Diki Diki Dong creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. I’m A Believer is the excellent blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. You have to get essence of the The Tamoure’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. I love the melodic melody of Bananas and to this day it makes me feel good. Do Wa Diddy Diddy is such a gorgeous and optimistic song that things can get just better. Doctor Doctor (Help Me Please) to me is the best you can get from A La Carte. When The Boys Come Home is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. The song Ring Me Honey ending is my favorite… so catchy! You Get Me On The Run is really the reason why I recommend buying Rockin’ Oldies. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Ahe Tamoure make listening to A La Carte like being in some sort of time warp. Hit Mix is possibly the best song A La Carte has come up.
