Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Adam and The Ants on ‘Friend Or Foe’. This album has some very good songs like Friend Or Foe and Something Girls. Adam and The Ants had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Great ROck: Alternative right here!
Something Girls hits the heart. Place In The Country presents the excellent mix of instruments on Friend Or Foe. Desperate But Not Serious is perfect. After about the third Here Comes The Grump listen through, I began to believe this song is Adam and The Ants’s essence. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. This is probably my favorite song on the album. Crackpot History And The Right To Lie - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Adam and The Ants. Made Of Money (3:26) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. Cajun Twisters - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. Try This For Sighs is a very catchy tune. Man Called Marco is one of these floating songs.
