When you buy a Alan Stivell album, you know exactly what you’re getting! This is one of the best Cd’s Alan Stivell has dropped to date. Now signed to Alan Stivell’s Mute Records, the title track from second album “Legende” leads Alan Stivell’s back-to-school campaign. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about Alan Stivell ever.
This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. Barn - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. Azenor make listening to Alan Stivell like being in some sort of time warp. I can’t stop humming along Sawen. Tour an Arvor is beautiful, yet underrated track. Eireog Shineidin is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. Immram Brain is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Les peuples dieux de Danu is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. This track is full of harmonies and gets Legende off to a relaxing start. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Legende. Dans le tertre - This is a very lively song. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Alan Stivell. Le pacte is the funkiest number on the album. Au-del des 9 vagues is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside.
