Ivan Grach has compared writing for Alice Cooper’s new album to that on ‘Welcome To My Nightmare’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. This is one of the best cd’s i have heard through the whole thing.
Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Welcome To My Nightmare is Devil’s Food. The Black Widow - This one is lively and fun. Some Folks had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Only Women Bleed - I like this one. A fantastic track full of wonder. Alice Cooper has astounded me with this amazing track. Years Ago - To me, this is the best song on the Welcome To My Nightmare. No Alice Cooper song has come close to capturing my attention as Steven did. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is The Awakening. Voice of Alice Cooper in Escape is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant.
