Lead single “Soap Shop Rock” and “She Came Through The Chimney” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. There is so much to love about Amon Duul Ii, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Amon Duul Ii’s debut, ‘Yeti’, does not fit easily into one genre. This is my first Amon Duul Ii Album and i must say i am blown away.
She Came Through The Chimney is another favourite of mine. Archangels Thunderbird catches attention immediately, After few listenings I started to like Cerberus more and more. Amon Duul Ii is hitting on all cylinders in The Return Of Ruebezahl. Once you hear Eye-Shaking King, you will listen to it over and over. Pale Gallery which is my favorite is a truly Amon Duul Ii sounding song. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Yeti. Yeti Talks To Yogi (Improvisation) is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. Best song on the album, love it.
