While no new Angry Samoans album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1982 tour in Africa. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Angry Samoans energies, virtually a rebirth. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Angry Samoans. This is my first Angry Samoans Album and i must say i am blown away.
Album opener Todd Killings is a bright, upbeat ditty. Lights Out is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. My Old Man’s a Fatso is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Time Has Come Today is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Angry Samoans has astounded me with this amazing track. Charming song, great melody. Steak Knife one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. Haizman’s Brain Is Calling is a fine track on any terms. Tuna Taco - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. Coffin Case - For me, this is the best of the album. You Stupid Jerk is the more seemingly obscure song on Back from Samoa that bear up best to repeated listening. Ballad of Jerry Curlan is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Not of This Earth is outstanding work of Angry Samoans.
