I am not a real Country music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Anne Murray and Glen Campbell’ really is amazing. While no new Anne Murray album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1971 tour in Asia. Anne Murray and Glen Campbell isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Exciting stuff.
Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Anne Murray and Glen Campbell is Let Me Be The One. Ease Your Pain is a perfect song and it grows on you. I now have Love Story (You & Me) as one of my personal favorites. United We Stand is a very catchy tune. Bring Back The Love - A classic Anne Murray track. Canadian Sunset had me crying as I was able to relate so well. This track is a great song that still never gets old. Medley: I Say A Little Prayer/By The Time I Get To Phoenix - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Anne Murray. In You’re Easy To Love the music gets its power.
