I am not a real Jazz music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Alamode’ really is amazing. This seven-song debut EP shows the promise that Art Blakey has. Art Blakey had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Alamode touched my soul like nothing else.
You don t know what love is is the albums biggest surprise. Circus is astounding. Invitation is one of my favorite songs by Art Blakey. Art Blakey allows each song to breathe and flourish. Gee baby Ain t i good to you is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade.
