This disc has all of the essential Asmus Tietchens classics. On Nachtstucke album, Asmus Tietchens have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. When you buy a Asmus Tietchens album, you know exactly what you’re getting! To me Asmus Tietchens is the best band ever.
Sieben Harmoniaturen has a fun tempo. Falter-Lamento is outstanding work of Asmus Tietchens. Viertes Nachtstuck is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. I can’t stop playing Intrada. It’s such an underrated song. Lichterwald has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. Ultima Tundra is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. There is marvelous mix of music in Zweites Nachtstuck. Charming song, great melody. Wind Ohne Wetter - A classic Asmus Tietchens track. Dampf Ablassen stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Strenge Klange is pretty funky and mellow.
