This is one of the best Cd’s Barbra Streisand has dropped to date. Barbra Streisand had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. This fourteen-song debut EP shows the promise that Barbra Streisand has. Yentl constantly brilliant.
One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Papa, Can You Hear Me because the melody in the chorus is so good. Get Yentl and turn on This Is One Of Those Moments if you are going to sip your wine late at night. Barbra Streisand is hitting on all cylinders in No Wonder. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. No Wonder (Part Two) is a very catchy tune. I think Tomorrow Night is the best song Barbra Streisand has ever done. Will Someone Ever Look At Me That Way is the funkiest number on the album. No Matter What Happens is probably the most interesting track on Yentl. No Wonder (Reprise) is simply perfect. A Piece Of Sky - Okay, I just talked about depth. The Way He Makes Me Feel (Studio Version) is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. No Barbra Streisand song has come close to capturing my attention as No Matter What Happens (Studio Version) did.
