The first time I listened to Philadelphia Morning I was struck by its cool sound. Going The Distance - I just love it. Reflections is one of the best records ever. Get Rocky 1 and turn on Marines’ Hymn/Yankee Doodle if you are going to sip your wine late at night. Take You Back is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. Some of the arrangements found on Rocky 1 are surprisingly edgy. I can’t stop playing You Take My Heart Away. Fanfare For Rocky is such a amazing and optimistic song that things can get just better. Butkus gives taste of what makes Bill Conti special as a musician. Bill Conti allows each song to breathe and flourish. The Final Bell is the most memorable and excellent. Voice and instruments in Rocky’s Reward complement each other.
