This disc has all of the essential Blue Oyster Cult classics. This is the first studio album from Blue Oyster Cult since bad diagnosis in 1980. two years ago, Blue Oyster Cult briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Monsters”. Cultosaurus Erectus is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Cultosaurus Erectus is Monsters. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. Deadline - To me, this is the best song on the Cultosaurus Erectus. It took me a little time but I ended up loving The Marshall Plan. I like Hungry Boys because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Fallen Angel. Lips In The Hills - I like this one. I now have Unknown Tongue as one of my personal favorites.
