Now signed to Blue Oyster Cult’s Virgin Records, the title track from second album “Revolution By Night” leads Blue Oyster Cult’s back-to-school campaign. Blue Oyster Cult was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Blue Oyster Cult and Revolution By Night together. Since completing 1983’s ‘Take Me Away’, Blue Oyster Cult fulfilled their contract with Virgin Records and where under no obligation to release another album. This is the best album I have heard in a long time
No Blue Oyster Cult song has come close to capturing my attention as Eyes On Fire did. When I listen to Shooting Shark in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Veins is cool work of Blue Oyster Cult. Shadow Of California is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Feel The Thunder is my favorite song on Revolution By Night. Let Go has a fun tempo. Dragon Lady is the funkiest number on the album. Light Years Of Love gives good insight into the truths.
