This album has some very good songs like Everybody Needs Somebody To Love (Jake & Elwood) and Gimme Some Lovin’ (Jake). For older fans Blues Brothers will put a massive smile accross your face. Blues Brothers carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. It is very deep stuff - very exciting
Gimme Some Lovin’ (Jake) is simply gorgeous. Blues Brothers sings Jailhouse Rock (Jake) in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Lyrics of Minnie The Moocher (Cab Calloway) are precise and evocative. Peter Gunn Theme (Jake) which is my favorite is a truly Blues Brothers sounding song. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. Sweet Home Chicago (Elwood & Jake) had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Theme From Rawhide (Elwood & Jake) is a very catchy tune. This track is just a stunning masterpiece.
