I am not a real R&B: Soul music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Made in America’ really is amazing. It’s natural for Blues Brothers to take a stab at ‘Soul Finger (Including ”Funky Broadway”)’ considering her long-professed love for Gridlok. This eleven-song debut EP shows the promise that Blues Brothers has. Made in America is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
Who’s Making Love is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. Do You Love Me to me is the best you can get from Blues Brothers. Guilty is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. I believe Perry Mason Theme is one of the most astounding, heartfelt songs ever written. Although Riot In Cell Block Number Nine is very melodic it is far from sad. I loved Green Onions the first time I heard it. I Ain’t Got You is nothing but pure genius. I have all of Blues Brothers’s tracks and From The Bottom is probably the most his introspective effort. Going Back To Miami is nothing short of a modern masterpiece.
