This disc has all of the essential Bolivia Manta classics. John Digester has compared writing for Bolivia Manta’s new album to that on ‘WiG±ayataqui’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. This is one of the best Cd’s Bolivia Manta has dropped to date. WiG±ayataqui is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
It’s such an underrated song. Cushijushun Ac is Bolivia Manta’s best work in years. San Miguel De Chulima gives taste of what makes Bolivia Manta special as a musician. Sacsaywaman on WiG±ayataqui is solid and easy to listen to. Q’anchis Varajyo is nothing but pure genius. This track is clearly meant to showcase Bolivia Manta’s vocal abilities. Still going through WiG±ayataqui and coming to appreciate Khoyaylla more and more with every listen. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Llaki Shungulla because the melody in the chorus is so good. I like the idea behind Q’ara Chuncho Recuerdos De C. Todosantos De Ocuri is a fine track on any terms. Chayantenita is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. Q’eros is one of these floating songs. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. Once Recuerdos De Canderave gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. Listening to Wat’isanka you can hear that Bolivia Manta has still amazing chemistry with band members. If you are a Bolivia Manta fan, you will love San Pedro De Parijana. Chiriwanos De Tambocusi has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Bolivia Manta’s strong vocals come to the fore. Huallpa Changa is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. This song is dynamic and dramatic. Album opener Achal Cuchi is a bright, upbeat ditty. You can find feelings on this piece of art. Tu Pobre Negro is the astounding blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. I loved Phusi Pias De Totorani the first time I heard it.
