This is one of the best Cd’s Bolland and Bolland has dropped to date. Now signed to Bolland and Bolland’s Savoy Records, the title track from second album “The Domino Theory” leads Bolland and Bolland’s back-to-school campaign. Since Bolland and Bolland last CD (The Domino Theory) on Savoy Records back in 1981, I have felt a massive void in my life. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like The Domino Theory.
You’re In The Army Now is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through The Domino Theory. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Charming song, great melody. Bolland and Bolland offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Excellent vocals and musical performances. To The Battleground is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. I like the idea behind LongDay’sJourneyInto The Night. Album opener Let’s Help A’R'VI’N Out is a bright, upbeat ditty. Some of the arrangements found on The Domino Theory are surprisingly edgy. Finale gives good insight into the truths. You’re In The Army Now (ext) - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Heaven Can Wait (extended) actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Bolland and Bolland’s face.
