Brenda Lee had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. IF YOU LIKE ALL Brenda Lee’S SONG GO FOR IT! After seeing Lover Come Back To Me, I had to have a good Brenda Lee cd. If I may, I suggest “Lover Come Back To Me”. That one song is amazing!
All The Way is the albums biggest surprise. After you’ve listened to Dum Dum, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. On The Sunny Side Of The Street is probably one of Brenda Lee’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. This song stands out greatly from the others. Someone To Love Me (The Prisoner’s Song) - arguably the best track on All The Way album. Do I Worry (Yes I Do) is simple, dignified and effective, Brenda Lee refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Tragedy one is one of the better boring ones. Kansas City is astounding song though, very addictive. This track is full of harmonies and gets All The Way off to a relaxing start. You have to get essence of the Speak To Me Pretty’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. The Big Chance is the first taste of the new album.
