Lead single “Under Stars” and “The Secret Place” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. There were many famous songs of Brian Eno available. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Brian Eno energies, virtually a rebirth. Check it every song is worth the money for the Apollo CD!
The Secret Place is excellent work of Brian Eno. Matta is Brian Eno’s best work in years. Signal is the albums biggest surprise. In An Ending it becomes nowhere more obvious that Brian Eno has yet to define own style. Under Stars 2 is one of the best records ever. There is perfect mix of music in Drift. Some of the arrangements found on Apollo are surprisingly edgy. This song is dynamic and dramatic. The first time I listened to Weightless I was struck by its excellent sound. Always Returning is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. Stars is a very catchy tune.
