There is so much to love about Budgie, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. This is the first studio album from Budgie since bad diagnosis in 1980. When you buy a Budgie album, you know exactly what you’re getting! One of Budgie’s best albums yet.
Hellbender is one of these floating songs. Heavy Revolution is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Budgie ever produced. Simple and heartfelt closing track Gunslinger closes Power Supply on a high note. When I listen to Power Supply in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. Time To Remember is a fine track on any terms. Crime Against The World is excellent work of Budgie. Wild Fire is beautiful, yet underrated track. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with High School Girls. Best song on the album, love it. Although Lies Of Jim (The E-Type Lover) is very melodic it is far from sad.
