‘Living Dub, Vol. 2′ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Burning Spear’s debut, ‘Living Dub, Vol. 2′, does not fit easily into one genre. IF YOU LIKE ALL Burning Spear’S SONG GO FOR IT! Cry Africa (Cry Blood Africans) and Telegram In Dub (African Postman) is really good.
Telegram In Dub (African Postman) is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. Teacher (African Teacher) is the more seemingly obscure song on Living Dub, Vol. 2 that bear up best to repeated listening. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. Charming song, great melody. Foggy (Road Foggy) presents the excellent mix of instruments on Living Dub, Vol. 2. Marcus Dub (Follow Marcus Garvey) is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. World Dub (Bad To Worst) - This one is lively and fun. Although Over All Dub (Civilized Reggae) is very melodic it is far from sad.
