I am not a real Reggae music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Man in the Hills’ really is amazing. This eleven-song debut EP shows the promise that Burning Spear has. This album has some very good songs like Man In The Hills and It’s Good. Unappreciated gift to Reggae
Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. When I listen to No More War in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Black Soul is perfect and different song. Man in the Hills couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Lion. Such hits like People Get Ready will leave you hooked. In Children the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. I love the melodic melody of Mother and to this day it makes me feel good. Door Peep is the first taste of the new album. Groovy good vocals.
