Business had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Since Business last CD (Suburban Rebels) on EMI Records back in 1983, I have felt a massive void in my life. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Business energies, virtually a rebirth. I wish that “Suburban Rebels” album was instrumental.
I now have Blind Justice as one of my personal favorites. Some of the arrangements found on Suburban Rebels are surprisingly edgy. The Employer’s Blacklist is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. Overall a nice softer song. Suburban Rebels is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Business ever produced. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Business. You can find feelings on this piece of art. Real Enemy - For me, this is the best of the album. Another Rebel Dead is a song to enjoy for years to come. Lyrics of Sabotage The Hunt are precise and evocative. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Harry May. Drinking And Driving one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. Music in Smash The Discos [bonus] is amazing as in all tracks of Suburban Rebels. Disco Girls [bonus] is probably the highlight of the album. Dayo [bonus] is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Loud, Proud ‘n’ Punk [bonus] is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Suburban Rebels.
