On Doces Barbaros (cd2) album, Caetano Veloso have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Caetano Veloso is one of my favourite bands of all time.
Strong, powerful vocals of Caetano Veloso in Genesis are very impressive. Once Chuckberry Fields Forever gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. Pissaro Proibido motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. Atiraste Uma Pedra is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Doces Barbaros (cd2). Fi Cega Faca Amolada is marvelous and different song. This song may be the most meaningful.
