Lead single “Samara [Bulerias]” and “Donde Se Divisa El Mar [Taranto]” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. There is no doubt that Camaron De La Isla has talent. Since Camaron De La Isla last CD (Castillo De Arena) on Savoy Records back in 1977, I have felt a massive void in my life. This is one of the best cd’s i have heard through the whole thing.
Donde Se Divisa El Mar [Taranto] is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. Y Mira Que Mira Y Mira [Tangos] - A nice song. Best song on the album, love it. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. Vivo Pa Quererte [Tientos] - This one is lively and fun. Camaron De La Isla is hitting on all cylinders in Por Cositas Malas [Seguiriyas].
