It has been thirteen years Cat Stevens’ last studio CD, “Catch Bull At Four” which won Array Academy Awards� and was nominated for album of the year. Since completing 1972’s ‘Sitting’, Cat Stevens fulfilled their contract with Columbia Records and where under no obligation to release another album. This is the first studio album from Cat Stevens since bad diagnosis in 1972. Sitting and The Boy With A Moon & Star On His Head is really good.
The Boy With A Moon & Star On His Head is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. Angelsea - This is a very lively song. Silent Sunlight one is one of the better boring ones. Can’t Keep It In is a excellent sing-along. Still going through Catch Bull At Four and coming to appreciate 18Th Avenue more and more with every listen. Freezing Steel is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Catch Bull At Four have ended. O Caritas is a bit different from Cat Stevens stereotypical stuff. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Ruins as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature.
