While no new Cerrone album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1980 tour in Australia. When you buy a Cerrone album, you know exactly what you’re getting! This album has some very good songs like Portrait Of A Modern Man and Panic. I wish that “Cerrone 6″ album was instrumental.
Panic - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. After you’ve listened to Memory, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. The Flash is the albums biggest surprise. The Time Is Running Down - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. Happines Pill - a classic song. Rendez-Vous is such a gorgeous and optimistic song that things can get just better. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. Portrait Of A Modern Man 2 actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Cerrone’s face.
