Self-described as Chanson with lots of words, Charles Aznavour comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Exciting stuff.
Idiote Je T’aime has a fun tempo. On Se Reveillera is one of the best records ever. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. Listening to Comme Des Roses you can hear that Charles Aznavour has still amazing chemistry with band members. Un Par Un - My least favorite song on this album. A Ma Femme is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Olympia 1972 Live (CD1). This track is clearly meant to showcase Charles Aznavour’s vocal abilities. Mourir D’aimer is just simply stunning. A unique and uplifting song. Reste one is one of the better boring ones.
