I am not a real Rock: New Wave music type of person, but i have to admit ‘In Color’ really is amazing. Since completing 1977’s ‘Hello There’, Cheap Trick fulfilled their contract with Savoy Records and where under no obligation to release another album. There is no doubt that Cheap Trick has talent. I Love In Color from start to finish!
Big Eyes is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. I like the idea behind Downed. I Want You To Want Me as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. Musically You’re All Talk is superior to other tracks in In Color. Oh Caroline is the albums biggest surprise. I listened to the opening track Clock Strikes Ten and liked it a lot. I like Southern Girls because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. It’s a great pleasure to listen to Come On, Come On from the beginning to the end. Cheap Trick offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. I hope to keep hearing Cheap Trick works for a long time to come. Southern Girls (Previously Unreleased - Demo) (3:04) - awsome. Vocals of Cheap Trick in Come On, Come On (Previously Unreleased - Demo) really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. You’re All Talk (Previously Unreleased - Live) is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Goodnight (Previously Unreleased - Live) I just LOVE this mix!
