There is so much to love about Chic, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. There is no doubt that Chic has talent. This is one of the best Cd’s Chic has dropped to date. This is what good R&B: Soul should be.
Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Take It Off. Chic offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Telling Lies gives good insight into the truths. Only one song from Take It Off named Stage Fright really got me. It took me a little time but I ended up loving So Fine. Baby Doll is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. Lyrics of Would You Be My Baby are precise and evocative.
