Chicago was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Chicago and Chicago V together. It has been thirteen years Chicago’ last studio CD, “Chicago V” which won Array Emmy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Chicago’s debut, ‘Chicago V’, does not fit easily into one genre. Chicago is one of my favourite bands of all time.
All Is Well - A strong beat. Now That You’ve Gone is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. Simple and heartfelt closing track Dialogue, Pt. 1 closes Chicago V on a high note. Dialogue, Pt. 2 is worth the money. Strong, powerful vocals of Chicago in While The City Sleeps are very impressive. I have all of Chicago’s tracks and Saturday In The Park is probably the most his introspective effort. State Of The Union is the albums biggest surprise. This is one hell of a track. Once Alma Mater gets in your head, it will NEVER leave.
