Chilly had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Chilly energies, virtually a rebirth. This is one of the best Cd’s Chilly has dropped to date. This album is in perfect progression from Chilly!
Showbiz is really the reason why I recommend buying Showbiz. Rock’n Roll Sally is the more seemingly obscure song on Showbiz that bear up best to repeated listening. Taxman was the first single release from the album Showbiz. Come Let’s Go - I just love it. The Race is the amazing blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. Thank You is a very catchy tune. This song may be the most meaningful. Two Wrongs Don’ Make A Right is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Showbiz have ended. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: We Are The Popkings, which shows, blatantly, how much Chilly has evolved as a singer. I’ve found myself listening to I Hear You Knocking back to back and back many times. After you’ve listened to Gotta Move On, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. When The Lights Go Down - My least favorite song on this album.
