There is so much to love about Chris Connor, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. IF YOU LIKE ALL Chris Connor’S SONG GO FOR IT! twelve years ago, Chris Connor briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Strike Up the Band”. Chris In Person is not something you should pass up.
A great put together song. Chris Connor has astounded me with this amazing track. If you are a Chris Connor fan, you will love Misty. Once Lover, Come Back to Me gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. Don’t judge It Don’t Mean a Thing (If It Ain’t Got That Swing) on the first listening. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. The sound of Hallelujah I Love Him So is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Fine and Dandy is the funkiest number on the album. Strong, powerful vocals of Chris Connor in Don’t Worry ‘Bout Me are very impressive. Chinatown My Chinatown actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Chris Connor’s face. I came to like Angel Eyes. All About Ronnie is beautiful, yet underrated track. ‘Round Midnight is a striking and quite long song.
