This is the first studio album from Claude Larson since bad diagnosis in 1979. Since completing 1979’s ‘Airport’, Claude Larson fulfilled their contract with Virgin Records and where under no obligation to release another album. There were many famous songs of Claude Larson available. Oh yes, this album gets Array out of Array
Highway E1 as a highlight of Surroundings contains a ton of excellent melodies. Holiday-Dream one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Sandy Shore, which shows, blatantly, how much Claude Larson has evolved as a singer. Strong, powerful vocals of Claude Larson in Turning Wheels are very impressive. I have all of Claude Larson’s tracks and Mountains & Meadows is probably the most his introspective effort. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit.
