Now signed to Cliff Richard’s SixSteps records, the title track from second album “21 Today” leads Cliff Richard’s back-to-school campaign. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Cliff Richard on ‘Happy Birthday To You’. To me Cliff Richard is the best band ever.
In Forty Days (To Come Back Home) the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. Catch Me is a very catchy tune. It’s a great pleasure to listen to How Wonderful To Know from the beginning to the end. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. Opening track 50 Years For Every Kiss shows the best of Cliff Richard. The Night Is So Lonely is really a nice song to relax and listen too. Only one song from 21 Today named Poor Boy really got me. Y’ Arriva is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after 21 Today have ended. If you are a Cliff Richard fan, you will love Outsider. Voice and instruments in Tea For Two complement each other. To Prove My Love For You has a fun tempo. The first time I listened to Without You I was struck by its astounding sound. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with A Mighty Lonely Man. My Blue Heaven is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. Shame On You is a bit of a show-tune.
