I am not a real Pop: Pop-Rock music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Head Over Heels’ really is amazing. It’s natural for Cocteau Twins to take a stab at ‘When Mama Was Moth’ considering her long-professed love for Gustav Holst. While no new Cocteau Twins album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1983 tour in South America. This album is in perfect progression from Cocteau Twins!
Five Ten Fiftyfold is a fine track on any terms. Cocteau Twins must have run out of lyrics on the next track Sugar Hiccup. In Our Angelhood - My least favorite song on this album. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Glass Candle Grenades. Cocteau Twins has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. Voice and instruments in The Tinderbox (Of A Heart) complement each other. Cocteau Twins is one of artists that allow his songs like Multifoiled to stand on their own and be heard. My Love Paramour is a excellent song and it grows on you. Overall a nice softer song.
