Live carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. While no new Colosseum album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1971 tour in North America. Now signed to Colosseum’s ForeFront Records, the title track from second album “Live” leads Colosseum’s back-to-school campaign. To me Colosseum is the best band ever.
Walking In The Park is simple, dignified and effective, Colosseum refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. I Can’t Live Without You is a great opener for Live. Tanglewood ‘63 is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Colosseum released so far. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Lost Angeles is one of these floating songs.
