There is so much to love about Country - Various Artists, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Since Country - Various Artists last CD (Rainbow Quest) on Capitol Records back in 1960, I have felt a massive void in my life. Country - Various Artists was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Country - Various Artists and Rainbow Quest together. Rainbow Quest and Golden Varity is really good.
Golden Varity is worth the money. I Am A Pilgrim is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. Worried Man Blues is really a nice song to relax and listen too. Country - Various Artists must have run out of lyrics on the next track There’s A Mother Always Waiting. Five Feet High And Rising is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Pickin’ Time very upbeat. A fantastic track full of wonder. Charming song, great melody. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. I’m Thinking Tonight of My Blue Eyes is a romantic if not formulaic ditty.
