Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Creedence Clearwater Revival on ‘Lookin’ For A Reason’. Lookin’ For A Reason and Take It Like A Friend is really good.
Creedence Clearwater Revival must have run out of lyrics on the next track Take It Like A Friend. Need Someone To Hold stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Tearin’ Up The Country is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Someday Never Comes to me is the best you can get from Creedence Clearwater Revival. Creedence Clearwater Revival allows each song to breathe and flourish. Sail Away which is my favorite is a truly Creedence Clearwater Revival sounding song. Hello Mary Lou - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. All of songs on Mardi Gras and have something to say letting alone Sweet Hitch-Hiker.
