Since Crucifix last CD (Dehumanization) on Virgin Records back in 1983, I have felt a massive void in my life. This is the first studio album from Crucifix since bad diagnosis in 1983. This album has some very good songs like Annihilation and How when Where. Exciting stuff.
Voice and instruments in How when Where complement each other. Crucifix has astounded me with this amazing track. Prejudice can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Crucifix is all about. No Limbs is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. The first time I listened to Another Mouth to Feed I was struck by its gorgeous sound. I like the agression and power of Search for the Sun. Indochina is a amazing song and it grows on you. A great put together song. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. Death Toll is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. Some call Blind Destruction from Dehumanization as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. Within the first few notes of Rise and Fall it’s perfectly clear that Crucifix is living this song. Crucifix sings his heart out in Stop Torture.
