This disc has all of the essential David and Steve Gordon classics. It has been five years David and Steve Gordon’ last studio CD, “Peaceful Evening” which won Array Emmy� Awards and was nominated for album of the year. It’s natural for David and Steve Gordon to take a stab at ‘Dusk’ considering her long-professed love for Azymuth. This album is awesome.
Changing Hues - This is a very lively song. Under a Painted Sky without a doubt is the standout song of Peaceful Evening. Amethyst and Amber - A strong beat. Deepening is one of my favorite songs by David and Steve Gordon. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Peaceful Evening. Nightflyer is a excellent song and it grows on you. Gentle Breeze is a perfect, simple song by David and Steve Gordon at the top of his game. Radiant Sea is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Overall a nice softer song. The first time I listened to Evenglow I was struck by its gorgeous sound.
