eight years ago, David Bowie briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Golden Years”. There is so much to love about David Bowie, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. This is the first studio album from David Bowie since bad diagnosis in 1976. I wish that “Station To Station” album was instrumental.
What sets Golden Years apart is David Bowie’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. Word On A Wing is simple, dignified and effective, David Bowie refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. David Bowie must have run out of lyrics on the next track TVC15. Stay gets you up and jumping. Wild Is The Wind is amazing work of David Bowie.
