Now signed to Dead Kennedys’s Savoy Records, the title track from second album “Plastic Surgery Disasters” leads Dead Kennedys’s back-to-school campaign. This album has some very good songs like Government Flu and Terminal Preppie. ‘Plastic Surgery Disasters’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. If you want to hear real Rock: Punk-Rock, get this record now!
Terminal Preppie is the funkiest number on the album. Trust Your Mechanic - Dead Kennedys first major hit. Well Paid Scientist presents the marvelous mix of instruments on Plastic Surgery Disasters. I listened to the opening track Buzzbomb and liked it a lot. Forest Fire is the albums biggest surprise. Plastic Surgery Disasters couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Halloween. Dead Kennedys is hitting on all cylinders in Winnebago Warrior. This track is a great song that still never gets old. Dead Kennedys sings Bleed For Me in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Lyrics of I Am The Owl are precise and evocative. Dead End one is one of the better boring ones. Moon Over Marin is a strong cut, one of many.
