This four-song debut EP shows the promise that Depeche Mode has. Singles Box 1 (See you) isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Lead single “See You - Extended Version” and “Now This Is Fun” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. If I may, I suggest “See You - Extended Version”. That one song is amazing!
This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Singles Box 1 (See you). Now This Is Fun - Extended Version - A classic Depeche Mode track.
