After debuting at No. 1 last week, Die Flippers’s album Marlena falls to No. 2 with 326,000, a sales slide of 66%. Die Flippers was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Die Flippers and Marlena together. Die Flippers’s debut, ‘Marlena’, does not fit easily into one genre. Such great and happy songs.
Isabell is the cool blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. Gina (3:10) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! Kleine Sonja as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. Marlena couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Carry Ann. I can’t stop humming along Marlena. A great put together song. Die Flippers offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Sudamerika is amazing work of Die Flippers. Rosalie is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. I like the idea behind Weine Nicht Um Tommy.
