Opel-Gang isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. When you buy a Die Toten Hosen album, you know exactly what you’re getting! Die Toten Hosen was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Die Toten Hosen and Opel-Gang together. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like Opel-Gang.
Allein vor deinem Haus o. Dein is a very catchy tune. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. Reisefieber hits the heart. Die Toten Hosen has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. Opel-Gang is a marvelous song and it grows on you. Such hits like Willi muss ins Heim will leave you hooked. Overall a nice softer song. Schwarzer Mann - This is a very lively song. Geld as a highlight of Opel-Gang contains a ton of gorgeous melodies. A fantastic track full of wonder. Es ist nichts gewesen has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Opel-Gang. This track is full of harmonies and gets Opel-Gang off to a relaxing start. I find myself hearing bits of Bis zum bitteren Ende here and there throughout my waking hours.
