Diverse had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Since completing 1978’s ‘Frankie Valli / Grease’, Diverse fulfilled their contract with Mute Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Since Diverse last CD (Grease) on Mute Records back in 1978, I have felt a massive void in my life. Exciting stuff.
It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. The sound of Olivia Newton John / Hopeles.. is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. No Diverse song has come close to capturing my attention as John Travolta / You’re The O.. did. John Travolta / Sandy is pretty funky and mellow. Frankie Avalon / Beauty Scho.. is such a perfect and optimistic song that things can get just better. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. John Travolta / Greased Ligh.. - I just love it. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Cindy Bullens / It’s Raining… Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. Best song on the album, love it. Sha-Na-Na / Rock ‘N Roll Is .. is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Sha-Na-Na / Those Magics Cha.. is a bit of a show-tune. Music of Sha-Na-Na / Hound Dog is gentle, never overbearing. Sha-Na-Na / Born To Hand Jive - A nice song. Sha-Na-Na / Tears On My Pillow is a fine track on any terms. Louis St. Louis & Cindy Bull.. is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. I’ve found myself listening to Cindy Bullens / Freddy My Love back to back and back many times. Louis St. Louis / Rock’n'rol.. - Check out that bassline! Stockard Channing / There Ar.. is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Diverse released so far. Music in Olivia Newton John / Look At.. is amazing as in all tracks of Grease. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. (Instrumental) / Love Is A M.. (1:23) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! Some call Frankie Valli / Grease (Repr.. from Grease as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen.
