On Breaking The Chains album, Dokken have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Dokken on ‘Breaking The Chains’. This is the first studio album from Dokken since bad diagnosis in 1982. Overall, I would highly recommend Breaking The Chains CD.
In In The Middle full palet of sound is used by Dokken to accentuate the presentation. One listen to the sheer beauty of Felony was all I needed. I Can’t See You is a song to enjoy for years to come. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Nightrider hits the heart. Voice of Dokken in Seven Thunders is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. All of songs on Breaking The Chains and have something to say letting alone Young Girls. Stick To Your Guns one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. Paris Is Burning is such a amazing and optimistic song that things can get just better.
