IF YOU LIKE ALL Donovan’S SONG GO FOR IT! This album has some very good songs like Mellow Yellow and Writer In The Sun. After seeing Mellow Yellow, I had to have a good Donovan cd. Last Hot Album by Donovan
I’ve found myself listening to Writer In The Sun back to back and back many times. Sand and Foam - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. The Observation - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Bleak City Woman is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. House Of Jansch is the albums biggest surprise. Simple and heartfelt closing track Young Girl Blues closes Mellow Yellow on a high note. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. Hampstead Incident gives taste of what makes Donovan special as a musician. Still going through Mellow Yellow and coming to appreciate Sunny South Kensington more and more with every listen.
