fourteen years ago, Dust briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Chasin’ Ladies”. Since Dust last CD (Dust) on Columbia Records back in 1971, I have felt a massive void in my life. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Dust on ‘Stone Woman’. Dust is one of my favourite bands of all time.
This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Dust. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. From A Dry Camel gives taste of what makes Dust special as a musician. Often Shadow Felt actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Dust’s face. No Dust song has come close to capturing my attention as Loose Goose did.
